Thursday 6th...my way off the mark prediction

Lots of people are speculating about what will happen at the Apple event this week, here are the views of phonedifferent (a great iPhone site)...as an aside, I see that Chad Garrett is now writing for phonedifferent & I wish him well.

Many are saying the SDK will be delayed...what sort of a "special event" would that be? Everyone turns up with distinctly moist under garments and Steve stands up and announces....nuttin'...."errr, it;s not available until July...thanks for coming along by the way"...

Nope, that ain't gonna happen is it. For me, it would be an equal disappointment if it is something to do with all that boring Corporate email/IT/Exchange crap...the iPhone is meant to be a consumer device remember so I say stuff the big Co's, let's get the important and exciting things out there for us little people, and I don't mean leprachauns here. I reckon that something new will be coming out this week and I reckon it will be a major new Apple application or a tie-up with a major 3rd party Apple chum or some tie-in with a Mac based desktop application, possibly even more added features for one of the iLife apps (Apple TV?).

That's my prediction and no doubt, as usual, it will be soooooo far off the mark it will need a flight attendant on it.
